These are great shoes, I work construction and I need a good, comfy pair of boots. The only complaint I have is that I didnt buy them sooner!
These boots are more in line with “high-top sneaker” style boots. They are a bit thin and look more like a shoe than a boot. Some my find this a plus with the added ankle support but I find this to be a drawback. The tongue is soft and will give a slight pinch at times with the laces pulled tight, it usually goes away though in short order but is another drawback for me. If you need a super light boot with minimal protection, as in you are forced to wear a boot but prefer shoes or need a super-light duty boot, these would fit the bill nicely. If you a looking for a more stiffer substantial work boot, these are not for you.
This quality of this boot in one word is GARBAGE. I owned a pair for two weeks and the sitch in this boot came loose and my sock started showing. This is a Do Not Purchase Item.
The boots are pretty much what I expected. They are a bit narrow and would probably be more comfortable if they were wider. Had an issue with comfort when I was on my feet for a couple of 12 hour days but added some gel inserts and they work great.
Do not buy these boots! They have very little padding and are extremely uncomfortable. They run large on sizing as well. A waste of time and money.
The seller was right on point with delivery, package, and quality of product. The boots are so comfortable on the feet after breaking them in. The grip on the soles makes every working environment safe to work; I’ll definately purchase this item again and recommend it to friends.
First thing I noticed was how heavy they are. These are just as heavy as the next least heavy duty Cat boot, and I bought them expecting them to be a bit lighter.The second thing is that until you break them in, they are a nightmare. I felt like I was strapping bricks to my feet when I first wore these, even with gel sole inserts.They became more comfortable about about a month of heavy use, but are still by no means pleasant to wear.For my next pair of shoes, I’m probably going to shell out the money for a nice pair of Wolverines.
Just got this boot and am breaking them in. They fit 1/2 size big. I.E., If you wear an 8, order a 7.5. All people reviewing on Zappos agree. Amazon has them beat on price. I saw the reviews over there and heeded. I solidly fit an 8 and ordered a 7.5. Fit good, 8 would have been way too big.I was looking for a light weight workboot that wasn’t too bulky and so far I am very happy with this boot. I use it for work around the house wearing with jeans or shorts. Not an industrial strength boot, but that’s not what I was looking for.
