My son loves these shoes. And on those days when he doesn’t want to get dressed (he’s not yet 2), I can convince him he wants to put “these” shoes on because “they have eyes.” It’s a concept he gets and can even say, so it’s quite a hoot for him to show off his “shoes with eyes.”These shoes are great quality, sturdy, and seem very comfy. He never has red spots on his feet after wearing them all day. These are his main shoes, so he wears them constantly, and they have held up remarkably well. Definitely worth the extra money spent on them, since I don’t have to buy replacements every few months. And a great find since my son has pretty wide feet that don’t tend to fit into average shoes.The only [minor] problem with this model is that, since they only have one fastening strap, the tongue tends to buckle up a bit, even though there is velcro on the center of the tongue and the strap to hold them together in place. Two straps would have been better. But it doesn’t seem to bother my son at all.Overall I love these shoes. They are so very cute! They have that kid charm that is so often lacking these days, with baby products designed to look more like adult clothing/shoes. I would buy these again, and will definitely buy Stride Rite again.

I think the title explains it all. We are on our second pair and my 16 month old loves these shoes. Whenever we are going out he always picks these shoes. He loves his Oscar the Grouch shoes! So pleased!!!
